Paytali Technologies ("Paytali", "we", "our", or "us") is committed to safeguarding the privacy and personal data of our users. We provide a peer-to-peer matching marketplace connecting currency buyers with vetted merchant brokers. Paytali does not custody user exchange settlement funds.

2. Information We Collect

We collect information necessary to facilitate safe matching, prevent financial crime, and meet compliance standards:

• Account Identification: Full name, verified email address, verified phone number, username, and country of origin.
• Identity Verification (KYC): Government ID documents and biometric facial verifications, securely processed via Smile ID.
• Order Metadata: Transaction reference IDs, exchange currency pairs, amounts, and settlement status audit trails.

3. Strict Contact Privacy

A cornerstone of the Paytali security model is privacy between counterparties. We do not display or share your personal phone number, home address, or email address with the counterparty during a trade. All order updates and notifications are managed via our encrypted in-app channels.

4. Data Retention & Security

All personal information is encrypted in transit and at rest using industry-standard TLS 1.3 and AES-256 protocols. Identity documents are stored in secure object storage with strict access controls and are never retained in plain text.
