Check and confirm your payout
Confirm receipt only after the funds arrive in the actual destination.
A merchant payout message or uploaded receipt is a claim that funds were sent. You need to check the real receiving account or agreed cash-out destination before confirming receipt.
Confirm the completed payment
- Open the existing order and read You Receive and Receiving Account (Payout Destination), where shown.
- When Merchant Sent Payout or MERCHANT_PAID_OUT is shown, check your actual receiving provider for the amount and transaction result.
- If using a kiosk, verify the intended payout was received at the agreed destination. Do not use a screenshot as the only evidence of receipt.
- Only after checking receipt, use the order’s receipt-confirmation action.
- Wait for the updated state and reopen Orders if necessary. The completed order can offer a rating.
If the funds have not arrived
Do not confirm receipt. Use order chat to describe the mismatch and keep your receiving-account evidence. Use Raise Dispute if offered, or contact support. Do not accept instructions to confirm first and receive funds later.
If confirmation fails
Reload the order to see whether the confirmation already succeeded. Do not send another payment or create a new order to finish the first one. Provide support with the order reference, displayed status and time of the attempted confirmation.
If the issue continues, contact PayTali support with the relevant order or payment reference and the error message. Never include your password, verification codes, full BVN or full NIN.
