Find and reopen an order
Use order history to check the latest trade state before paying or retrying.
Order history is where you return to an existing exchange. Check it after a slow request or interrupted session before creating another trade.
Open an order on the web
- Sign in to the account used for the trade and open Orders.
- Use the history tabs to find the relevant trade. Match its currency, amount, merchant and order identifier. If it is absent from Active / Pending, check All Orders; the web active filter currently includes only MATCHED and BUYER_PAID.
- Open the order and read its current status, Exchange Summary and available action.
- If you need assistance, retain the full order reference. Do not rely only on a shortened identifier visible in a card.
On the native app
Choose the Orders tab. Use All, Active, Complete or Cancelled, and pull down to refresh. The Chats tab opens order conversations. Select a trade to reopen its detail screen.
Order Not Found
Check the account and the original order link. An inaccessible or failed request can appear as Order Not Found; it does not by itself prove the order was deleted. Check your connection, sign in again if needed and contact support. Do not place a replacement order while an earlier payment is unresolved.
If the issue continues, contact PayTali support with the relevant order or payment reference and the error message. Never include your password, verification codes, full BVN or full NIN.
