Review and fulfil an incoming merchant order

Check real payment receipt, send the agreed payout and record genuine proof.

Order creation does not require a manual merchant accept/reject step. Incoming orders appear against your offers once created. Open the actual order and follow its current state; do not infer payment receipt from an alert or screenshot alone.

Open the incoming order

  1. Open the merchant desk and the incoming-orders section.
  2. Choose View Order and check direction, Buyer Pays, You Release, rate and payout destination.
  3. If MATCHED, wait for the buyer’s required payment step. If BUYER_PAID, verify the actual receiving account before using Confirm Payment Received.
  4. For NGN-wallet-funded EGP purchases, the system can already show merchant receipt confirmation. Follow the payout action rather than requesting a second buyer payment.
  5. When payout is required, send the agreed funds to the recorded destination, then use Submit Payout Proof & Release, attach the genuine receipt and choose Confirm Payout Sent.
  6. Reopen the order to check its new status and any buyer confirmation or completion.

Reverse NGN-corridor settlement

For the EGP-to-NGN path, the merchant interface can offer Confirm EGP Received & Release NGN. Verify actual EGP receipt before using it; this is a settlement action, not a harmless acknowledgement. Follow the resulting state instead of submitting a second payout blindly.

If there is a mismatch

Use Live Chat to discuss the order and Raise Dispute where available. Keep real receipts. If an upload appears to succeed without a readable file, contact support; the client’s file-reference fallback is not proof that storage received the document.

If the issue continues, contact PayTali support with the relevant order or payment reference and the error message. Never include your password, verification codes, full BVN or full NIN.
