Edit, pause or resume a merchant offer
Manage existing ads and distinguish a manual pause from exhausted capacity.
Manage offers in Marketplace Ads Portfolio. Editing an offer changes its advertised terms; it does not rewrite an already-created order’s locked rate.
Edit an offer
- Open the merchant desk and locate the offer.
- Choose Edit. Review the rate, amount range, payment window, payment details and Merchant Terms.
- Save the changes and check the portfolio again. If using a small rate-adjustment button, verify the resulting rate before accepting more orders.
- Inspect the marketplace listing to confirm the intended current offer is visible.
Pause or resume
- Choose Pause on an ACTIVE offer to stop advertising it for new orders.
- Choose Resume on a PAUSED offer when you are ready and eligible to trade again.
- Wait for the status message and updated listing. Existing orders still need to be fulfilled or resolved.
EXHAUSTED or Capacity Limit
This is different from a manual pause. The portfolio disables the normal status toggle for an exhausted offer. Review your deposit, active exposure and limits, then contact support if the restriction is unclear. Do not raise the advertised maximum beyond your real capacity to bypass it.
If a change does not take effect
Reload and check the saved values. Merchant status, assigned corridor or active-ad limits can reject the update. Do not assume a silent rate-button failure succeeded.
If the issue continues, contact PayTali support with the relevant order or payment reference and the error message. Never include your password, verification codes, full BVN or full NIN.
